Is there a specific reason for the footer? It sounds like over kill to me. Our Coverall barn is 40' x 96' on a 6' pony wall. We laminated our own posts out of 2x8's for the truss posts and 2x6's for the middles, then ran a 2x12 down the top of the posts and 2x6's and 2x4's on the sides to hold steel. On our posts, we ran 2 pieces of 14 to 16" long rebar through the post (1 @ 12" up E and W and 1 @ 24" up N and S) and set them in 1 yd of concrete. If you need that much strength, then maybe you should pour the walls also. The only problems we've had so far is that the cover was rubbing on the steel where it wrapped around the ends, so we loosened up the cover at the corners and put some pieces of rubber (top fuel tire tread pieces) at that piont and its work so far, and we should have put ends in that dang thing, but that's easy enough to fix.
