SE ND | I pulled a 730 home about 200 miles in a day trouble free. I had a hitch on the semi tractor I used but a 3/4 ton will handle it, checked tire pressure and bearings for play before I left and made it with no trouble. I never removed shanks and never had a problem with deep shoulders on the road or RR tracks, not sure if there is much difference in clearance between the two. Good luck.
