Southeast North Dakota | Yes, the 903's are spendy to work on. That's why I bought a good runner to replace mine vs. overhauling it. The cost of overhaul isn't justifiable on a 903 anymore, unless you've already got a lot of money in the rest of the tractor and are forced to keep running it. As for an 855 swap that's a highly involved project as well. I know a guy that changed one over, and it's an insane amount of work. Also, the 6 cylinder runs slower than the 903 so the road gear is slow after the swap. | |
