Subject: 1992 Ford F350 farm truck opinions

Franklin County, Frisco, IL
I have found a 1992 Ford F350, regular cab, 4x4, single rear wheel, 351 fuel injected, c6 auto tranny, 98,000 miles....pretty straight truck...little bit of rust above rear wheel area. I would be using this truck as just a farm truck, pulling nh3 wagons, gravity seed tender..300 bushel or so, general farm use......not big loads running 65 mph down the interstate...probably would not get more than 30 miles from home.

Questions....how stout is the engine? i believe that it has the 4.10 gears.....are they powerful enough for this type of work or are they gutless?

Probably $2500-$3000 is all i am willing to go.

Looking for opinions.

Thanks
Jim
