Of course there will allways be the issues of how deep, and what soil type, etc. However in my soils here in northwest oregon, I used to pull a 7-16" 2450 with a tired ol' 4630. It was a load at about 9-10", but it did pull it for many years. The 4430 may only be advertised at 125 or whatever, but it has more than that. If you can rip or shank the sod before the plow, it will not only plow better, but pull a lot easier. You'll have to make that extra trip over one way or the other, just depends whether you choose to make it before the plow or after. JMO.
