Subject: 6 bottom onland plow.

Parsons Kansas
I have the oppertunity to buy a 6 bottom onland plow. 6-16 I believe the owner said. I haven't seen the plow yet but he says it's in good shape. It's a 2350-2450 JD plow. I was wondering if a 4430 w/o duals has enough poop in it's britches to pull this thing. As a side note I do want to get duals for this tractor but just haven't got them yet. I would be tearing up old alfalfa stands and a fescue pasture or two. He wants a little more money for this thing then I want to spend but I just still thinking about it. Like I said I'm wondering if 125 ponies will do the job or not. The ground is a silty clay loam. Thanks as always for any input. Darren
