Red Wing boots here, lace up. Foot doctor told me lace up were much better for the feet, ankles, lower leg. Doc had inserts made for my shoes, they fit good now and feet quit hurting. Being out of highschool for 45 years make a lot of things hurt that we never even thought about in younger years.
