NW Washington | I don't know much about post hole diggers, but the PTO/3 pt hitch rigs all look similar to me, and their one big flaw is no down pressure. Then in hard dry ground you have people doing stupid things and endangering their lives to try to get the auger to bite into the ground. Or I guess you could get a Belarus tractor with down pressure on the 3 point.
A hydraulic drive unit on a loader looks like a much better way to dig a post hole.
