I need to edit out commercials etc from mp3 or wav files. This won't involve legalities since this is on a broadcast from local radio station. They don't care.

I do have a good movie making program (Studio) that easily allows me to cut up mp3 or wav files. Only problem is, it saves the end result as some other file form (.stu) not easily playable in mp3 or wav players. I'd just like to save the "edited" work as another mp3 or wav (I can convert one to another quite easily).

So-anyone have suggestions for a program/method they use for editing & SAVING that edited work as an mp3 or wav?
