South central Minnesota | Completely agree with you, lots of misinformation from the media and a lot of it spread here too. Gets a bit thick some days.
As far as the onstar equipped vehicles as your case when you had your accident, onstar would receive information that your airbag would have deployed and if you couldn't answer they would have sent emergency rescue to your location. Oh I know an invasion of your privacy some would say but then again I wouldn't mind some help in say your case if it had been any worse. Good that you are still around.
