northeastern Ohio | I compared the Krause and a JD before settling on the Krause. They were both on the local dealer's lots, so I took a tape measure and my dad and compared the two. The Krause had more trash clearance. The JD appeared to have better/stronger hinges on the wings. The JD did not have the roller baskets on the rear. The price was very close between the two. So I went with the Krause. Those were the only two machines I compared. I've never broke a hinge on the Krause (and it has seen plenty of acres), so in retrospect the hinge was a moot point. | |
