NW Ohio

Don,

We had a somewhat similar situation back at Sidedressing time. Running the GS1 with SF2. Had to shift track each time we turned on the end of the field, but the offset was always to the same direction. It varied between .3 and .7 off. Stellar told us to use the offset, but that would not work when the offset was only to the same direction. They also said to recalibrate the compensator. We ended up just living with it for Sidedressing.

The newest update on the software has cured this problem as far as I can tell from testing in a wheat stubble field.

But my real reason for the post is talking with my Deere Dealer service man, he said he would recalibrate the compensator once a week. Maybe more often if ground conditions warrent it.
