I experienced the same thing yesterday. We are running a 9860 with a 635 header doing beans. But the only difference is we are using a GS2. My problem was in the header setting in field doc (the simulated display) I had the header width as 35 feet. In the header width in the GS2 side I had 34.5, and if I would put an offset I would never get it right (leaving beans). When I changed them both to 34.5 with a offset of 0, it works fine now.
Maybe something to look at.
