SCMN | Wow, they sure don't give anything away through Deere AMS do they! I was pricing all the parts out online today, not gonna be cheap to do what I want to do. SF2 is an extra $2000 to unlock on the reciever plus the annual subscription fee, not sure what that is yet. But if it would allow me to come back and spray in the same tracks as the planter I think that would be worth it right there.
Dad and I were talking last night and he thought of another use for the system. Our planting tractor becomes our grain cart tractor in the fall and we dump on the go alot. Our combine auger length allows us to run the cart centered on the same 8 rows that the combine runs on. Really, we could hit resume while dumping and turn around to watch the cart and control speed. I had never thought of that before. That dad, he's a pretty clever one! | |
