Lets say 2ft for fun. So say 4% (doubtful but what the hell) on a 50ft FC over 300 acres (for reference)=15 acres 15 acres at .75 gal x $3 x 14 days=$472 That's assuming you have 4200 acres to FC.
Using the 3ft overlap (no way I would average that poor) but anyway...6% on a 50ft FC over 300 acres (for reference)=18 acres18 acres at .75 x $3 x 14 days=$567 again, assuming you have 4200 acres to go over using a single auto steer system?
So, I guess in a decade or two it will pay for itself in fuel.  Am I missing something?
