I'm not sure it says "fast start" on the screen. I think it refers to it as "auto seed". It will be one of the last pages of your omnistar setup. Since the latest updates to the 500 i haven't turned fast start on and seem to be getting to 34" convergence almost immediately after startup.
Where is the menu for fast start on EZ Guide 500?
