The old A didn't have a flex head but it worked pretty good with our flat ground. I think the A has about a 12 foot head on it as it catches 4 rows and 5 is just a touch too wide. The K has a flex head that is about 13 feet wide and can catch 5 rows very easily that was a kit somebody installed on it. I don't like the way the beans and wheat have to make a 4 inch jump to get into the header. I wish it were more flat. We have talked about chaining it up so its always up in the front. It doesn't have the auto height adjustment either. That would be my dad doing the adjustments. Here are a couple pics of the K in the same field almost in the exact same place as the A was in all the mud. What a difference a year can make!
