Central Illinois | Got a 612 Cornhead this year and love it. It really tares up the stalks almost like they are shredded. When chisel plowing, very little stock showing.
The stalks building up on the corn head goes way back to the 1293 and earlier. What we did is get a 4 row Remlinger reel for the cornhead that brings in trash from the 4 rows in front of the feeder house. We haven't used it on the 612 yet but it is there if we need it. | |
