West Central IL | Have a new 608 corn head with knife rolls, hydraulic deck plates. I have done a few hundred acres with no issues but today it was overcast. I was in very green stalks and they were collecting at the rear of the deck plates. There is a ramp behind the deck plates where the fodder collects, builds up and begins pushing stalks over and eventually gets jammed and slips the clutches. I called the dealer and he said I am the third one to complain, Deere has not come up with a solution yet. | |
