| I would make sure the feederhouse speed sender is operating correctly, and I would leave the sep. engaged because the speed sensing seems to disable when the sep. switch is off and you get that hard engage. Not sure about the head dropping unless it has something to do with that little accumulator type thing on the LH side. There are two cavities made of black tin on either side of the moisture sensor. these allow leakage past the plunger. In small grain they can fill before you empty the tank causing the plunger to stall. JD has a kit that puts larger cavities on the moisture sensor. All stabs in the dark, take it for what it's worth! | |
