SW Ohio | Put me in the "have" category, and my brother(s) and Dad. Way back in the 70's had my new 6600, first summer i hit a pole, bent tube 25 degrees back, worked all through the night straightening it out and was running again the next day. (remember 66oo has the latch on the front, mine was a pain to open and close so left it out most of the time. That fall brother #1 got it again, new tube-bent screw. Next year Dad got it, another tube, next year other brother got it, had a tube made from 1/4 " pipe, added shear pin protection to latch and cylinder, same bent screw, now even harder to latch, had to add rope to pull it closed. 66 lived here till the 90's, never put a dent in that heavy tube again.
Have no idea on cost but I can imagine the sound it made was "CHA-CHING" | |
