Subject: shivers drying system

mascoutah, IL
We have a shivers drying system in a 10,000 bushel bin. We have had it now for 20 years but it has been quite a while since we have run high moisture corn through it. We are drying 25 moisture corn at 180 degrees and only drying about 100 bushel per hour. Does this seem right? Like I said it has been a number of years since we ever ran anything this wet through it so I really don't remember how fast it is. At this rate we will be running at christmas. Anyone have any input?
