Lapel, In | I hade one of those days yesterday. I wish mine was only a platform.Went septic tank diving with the rear axle of the 7720. Tore the axle clean off and wiped (pun intended) the rear of the separator out. Sheared the 4 ---3/4" bolts off. Left rear wheel fell in. Neighbor brought his Deere 710 backhoe over and lifted it out. Am guessing (if I have coverage) that the combine that old (1981)will be totaled. The word distraught sums up my feeling yet today. Well, at least it is up on blocks and I got the header off this evening without tearing it up.Maybe that will stop the gawkers doing double takes, since it no longer looks like it headed skyward. Going to need a load of stone on Monday to fill the hole up ,Joe. Just keep running Romans 8:28 through my mind, trying to figure where all the good in it is.
