Callao, Missouri | Don't forget to account for the time that you or others spend to try to figure out how/where you spent your resources. I probably spend 300hrs/yr trying to figure out how to properly allocate misc. overhead items to their respective enterprises. After all the mentally exhausting work and shakey cost/income assignments, I find myself paying the most attention to the balance sheet, specifically the market value sheet. If I just looked at the crop side, or specific crops, the data would not be reliable.
The easiest way to make money with crops in your area is to seek out the most productive ground and control the production from it. Please notice that I did not say that YOU had to farm it.
Now stay out of my area...lol
