East Prairie, MO
Since we are staring winter wheat planting in the face I've been burning the pencil lead on that crop hard the last couple of days and it is not possible with my 5 yr average and current 09 price quote locally ($5.25 cash). I'm only putting it on the fields that historically have been high wheat yielders and keeping the rest in the bag and go the early bean route. (Double crop is routine here) Going to do the numbers on Corn and Beans soon since I'm in the figuring mood but am pretty scared what corn will show!
