Finland, up there in north where noboby farms!
Got my harvest done week ago and sure it is on the other side of the world, but 2-3 weeks late too! Spring wheat had some damage from early frost and non of barley or wheat was really matured nicely. Some starw still had some green on it, but seeds were matured. Combining was really hard for the machine, moisture between 19-24%. All goes on the dryer, normal operation here. Spring canola was only really good crop, yeilded well too. Can't explain that, since it has been difficult crop for me and it was planted lates, needs lot of heat ???

Since 2004 I have finished harvest earlier than I started this year. Right now standing crops might be "dry for the harvest" max 4-6 hours / day and lot of guys still have crops out there. Some fields are too soft to drive and some are not matured (and will not ever) because of lack of sun this "summer".

What a year!!!!!!!! It sure sucks juice out of you. You don't even wanna think about fertilizer and crop prizes......
