Malheur County Oregon | Well...... The good thing is that there is one heck of a yield there. I think anywhere from to 65 to 70 ton per ac. Normal irrigated yield is around 40 ton per ac. The bad part is I hope we get them harvested. Like everything else they are late and got undercut 2 weeks later than everything else. They are a long way from being field cured enough to harvest and I dont think we want to chance putting them in long term storage. I hope the weather holds long enough to get them dried down and they dont rot in the field | |
