It seems the poison (hawk and tomcat) itself has little effect on cats. Seems cats puke it up if they eat it. Dogs on the other hand, it will kill. If my cats have or did eat any dead mice or rats, it hasn't shown up. Seems the dead critters don't seem to come out into the open - from my experence.

I do get a coon that comes through once in a while - finds and eats all the bat bars I have out in the open and shakes the bait stations till stuff falls out - I haven't seen the results, but can only think it will kill them as well . . . .
