NE Kansas | For Basic soil sampling, we charge the farmer $6.15 and we get the samples and send off to the lab. We want the farmer to have no more than 20 acres per sample.
For Basic plus micros, we charge the farm $14.50 and we get the samples and send off to the lab. 20 acres per sample.
We do 2.5 acre grid sample at $10.50 per acre. We get another company to collect the samples and then gives us (the coop) the data. We then use it to make maps, etc. The farmer also gets a copy of the maps (the first time), but it seems like every farmer loses the maps.
