| Brand means Nothing anymore, because they all build to spec. For Ag batteries, the most important issue generally is this.... How much potting material is in the bottom of the case to hold the plates still? Wal Mart Exides have one row, maybe one inch wide down th emiddle of the case. Deere Exides have at least two rows. Last I knew, CAT batteries were fully potted, meaning the entire bottom of the case was flooded with resin before plates got installed. Pay a little more, but they almost NEVER shake a plate loose. cost more? yep.
