Have you tried Optima batteries? My favourite for many years as they crank fast, are maintenance free and nothing corrodes around them. In my opinion only surpassed today by the Swiss made Banner Running Bull dry cell and only becauce this one has a little more amp. hours. Do not know whether it is available in the US though.
