Subject: green harvested soybeans seeds

Mather, Manitoba

I'm still a little new to soybean production.... Anyways: is there a de-grading factor at the elevator for green seeds in soybeans. Did a field for the neighbors today, testing 12% moisture but maybe 10% of the seeds had a small amount of green in them. Should buddy expect more deductions at the elevator when he sells them??? Will they keep in the bin??? Only 2000bu in a wooden bin. I think they will be alright.
