Swift Current, Sask | Your belts must really bite then, and your shearpin must've been a little weak. Surprised it didn't plug the feederhouse. I would run the concave at about 4-5, cylinder at about 400-450. It has been a while since I did canola though :). By the sounds of it, you're overloading the sieves if you're running the concave right closed. Just don't open the concave too far, running it a little on the closed side will give you some leaway if you plug the cylinder with one of those nice beaverhuts. | |
