Subject: Canola with 95/9600 questions

North Western Alberta
Hey guys, just getting used to my new 9500. On real heavy swaths, do you guys ever break those little shear bolts? On my last headland round tonight, I snapped one. They are only 21' swaths, but they are really big by the tree line. So, just curious, if that happens often in really thick swaths? There was a bit of a pile there too, tried to feed it half at a time, but she took a pretty good bite. As I said, swaths are from a 21' swather, and Id say its running 30bu/acre. Im going about 4.5 miles per hour. Does that sound about right for a 9500 with air foil sieve, in canola like that, that is pretty rype and dry? Thinner spots up to 5 or even 5.5 mph. Really heavy spots down to 3.
Do you guys run the cylinder right closed/tight?
