North Western Alberta | Hey guys, just getting used to my new 9500. On real heavy swaths, do you guys ever break those little shear bolts? On my last headland round tonight, I snapped one. They are only 21' swaths, but they are really big by the tree line. So, just curious, if that happens often in really thick swaths? There was a bit of a pile there too, tried to feed it half at a time, but she took a pretty good bite. As I said, swaths are from a 21' swather, and Id say its running 30bu/acre. Im going about 4.5 miles per hour. Does that sound about right for a 9500 with air foil sieve, in canola like that, that is pretty rype and dry? Thinner spots up to 5 or even 5.5 mph. Really heavy spots down to 3.
Do you guys run the cylinder right closed/tight? | |
