Second the 97 model 2166, that's what I have and it has all the little "bugs" worked out. On April 1, 1989 they went to the CDC engines and lowered the rpm's. The change was designated by the model number being moved from the upper front of the sheet metal to the back down on the stripe in small numbers. They called them the XPE models, meaning xtra power and economy. The 1660 was upped to 190HP, and the heavy duty cleaning system drive arms were also added for reliability and in preparation for the long cleaning system to follow in the 88 series.
