NW Washington | I believe that the early Cummins engines in CIH combines were operated at a higher rpm which caused some reliability problems. Later they went back to the drawing board and slowed the Cummins/CDC engines down. I an not sure when this change occurred, but I would be looking for one of the later combines made after this fix.
