When my 4020 was done a couple of years ago first thing I did with it was put it on the snowblower. Warmed it up and first few minutes I worked it easy to let it get warmed up better and started increasing the load each pass. after about 20 minutes I was working it pretty hard, pulling it down to around 15-1600 rpms for short bursts from pto speed. I could literally feel it breaking in and gaining power. She don't use any oil at all now. Work it hard when warmed up good and be sure to cool it down afterward. DO NOT work it so hard it dies, that is not good. You want the combustion chamber tempature to go up and down, up and down, over and over for the first few hours. Don't know how many hours that depends alot on the mechanics opinion but minimze idling for the first 100 hours. Plowing will be an excellent way to break it in.
