We have some hub extensions that have the nut welded to the inside(back side) of the hub. If you run the bolt thru and draw the nut up tight to the back side I would think it would line up. If the threads are totally gone put a nut on bolt on the front side to draw the back nut up tight. I wouldn't weld all the way around the nut as shrinkage when it cools might sieze it on the bolt. Should be able to weld enough to keep it from turning while tightening it. Taking off might be another story?
