Remove # 6 rod / piston and remove the pushrods on #6 cyl. Route the #6 injection line to return and plug #6 oil hole in the crank.
Yes it will shake, but it may run that way a long time if not run at top rpm. You ever drive an old Odd fire Buick V6 ? They were the layout of a Buick V8 with two cylinders lopped off. They shook like heck, but would run 200,000 miles that way. Buick put them on super soft motor mounts and just let them shake.
