| We started beans yesterday (11%, around 50bpa, pretty short) and it wasn't much of a test for then new impeller. Short, dry beans are not usually hard to thresh. However, I did have a few green weeds (late germinating tall waterhemp) that didn't make any sound going through and after dark there was only a little rumbling once in a while when I got to a tougher spot. Definitely no 'bang bang bang'. So far they seem to be an improvement over the standard elephant ears.
