How quick does the header stop moving down when you release the switch on the 1400 series combines?  It seems like when I let off of the down button, the head continues to go down about another 12" or so.  Thought it was the switch on the hydro, but checked it with a test light, and it is not hanging up.  Also did the magnetic wrench trick with the solenoids (kind of fascinating for about 30 seconds!), don't think that the coil is bad.  appreciated quote

If I may ask, what exactly is the magnetic wrench trick?What does it prove and how do you do it?
