I think he would at least need to keep the loader on for the front end to stay down. My cousin had a 5510 with Front Wheel Assist on a 3 bottom plow this spring and I guess it worked. We always used a 3130 or 4020 with a 3 bottom and it worked good. A 3 bottom reversible is a chore for the 3130. It needs a full rack of weights to even think about handling it.

The new Kverneland semi-mount plows have a 3-point hitch on the back of them to attach another mounted plow to it. Seems like a good idea to increase plow size.
