In dry stalks a Case head (800,900,1000) takes in a lot less trash and feeds a lot better.

The stalk rolls on a Deere head are just plain built wrong and that is why they all wear out the very front of the stalk rolls and the rest of the roll looks like new.

The only thing better about a Deere head is the oil bath on the drive chains.
