North West IA/western AZ | Can't afford a red one? I was all green until I wanted to try a rotary. I liked the simplicity of the deere head, no bearing to grease at the lower end. Seems like all color heads have taken on the deere "look". Is the Case head better? I do miss the variable speed feerer house from the deere.
Back to the thread, I agree, lose the rubber paddles and slow the head. I had an ear guard on the last head but after takeing off the rubber flaps I haven't needed it.
