Jon, just straight east of you on route 36 in illinois is the town of decatur, home of Miles Chevrolet (217-877-4440 I think ) . They buy new engines in volumes and have excellent prices. I was getting a price on a engine for a 90 half ton and they shot me a price of $2150. I ask them if they had a basic 350 engine and they had one for $1750 !! It was a 4 bolt mainer to boot ! Worth a try jeff
