I'm wondering what we were doing wrong? We no-tilled c-c-c for several yrs via coulter till operation (aka Rawson-till), which would be arguably similar to today's strip till. However, after a couple of yrs, our stalks (stocks?) were still there. Probably from year 1-2-3 & 4. That residue buildup (politically correct term) got to be the problem for us anyway a few yrs ago.

So, what has changed? Or-what were we doing wrong? Our Ph was well in line & soil tests were all acceptable & beyond. Everything tested regularly.

Thanks
