Subject: Be careful

The Ag Leader can be an extremely accurate yield monitor IF it is well calibrated. Many (even most?) are not.

Also, the Deere calibration routine creates not a single linear curve, but two linear curves, one for normal flow, then a breakpoint followed by a linear curve for low flow. There are three calibration points for the Deere system, zero, normal flow and low flow. This simple change (years ago) did a lot to make the GreenStar accuarcy more acceptable.

Although dated, this info on yield monitors from PAMI is still relevant.
