Saranac, Michigan
Mr T,
I could not find an email address for you. My contact information can be found in my profile.
AGPS builds several systems that will move water off fields with a minimum of earthwork. As you describe, we have users in Quebec that use our Shape system to move water from their field to perimeter ditches. This does not use planar design, but locally balances profiles to minimize earthwork and compaction, think of it as a curved surface with compound positive grades. Our Dirt program is used for building single, tilted or multiple planes and contoured or straight levees.
Ditch is a program used to design and construct ditches in the field. They are designed to fit horisontal and vertical curvature and are used in areas like the Red River Valley. Pipe is used to design subsurface drainage in much the same way. All systems do machine control using RTK.

Thanks,

Mark
