Centre county Pennsylvania, USA | Brad, I'm pretty sure you will need to purchase a Deere data card to get started. I'd check with your friendly Deere dealer, they may be able to get you a loaner, or a low cost data card. You will also need to purchase a data card reader (ATA card reader is available from Addonics, google it) for your PC and some yield mapping software for your PC. Big CAUTION on that, Deers software requires continuous intensive care so you might want to look at some other software for mapping. Mapshots has a free downloadable FODM/FOViewer that I often use to read and map JD yield files, it's easy to use and trouble free. Check out Mapshots website for further info on that.
I forgot to include Hz setup for EZSteer-500 when using it to supply NMEA strings to Deere stuff. Set that for 1 hertz, not 5 hertz.
It's not rocket science but does take care and patience to get a clean install and dial-in. Good luck there. |
