Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
Yes.

(1) Install your EZGuide-500 and EZSteer on combine and dial it in as per Trimble instructions.

(2) Set EZGuide-500 GPS output for NMEA, 4800 baud, no parity then set VTG and GGA NMEA sentences to ON and set all other NMEA sentences to OFF.

(3) Use Trimble null modem serial cable to connect from EZGuide-500's serial connector (or from the GPS branch of a splitter that is attached to that connector) to the greenstar cables as per John Deere's "Using brand x receiver" DTAC. Your John Deere dealer should have that DTAC but if not ask here and I'm sure someone will email it to you.

We've used several different brand x GPS receivers in John Deere's silver wedge box yield monitor systems, they all produced pretty yield maps. Based on that experience, I'm certain Trimble's EZGuide-500 running on WAAS will produce high quality yield maps when used in John Deere's silver wedge box yield monitor systems, even as it is providing EZSteer with AB line driving instructions that are more accurate than combine driver can provide.
